Ah, Italy! Spaghetti, Pizza, guitars and mandolin! But what else? The stereotypes of Italy and Italians abroad abound, and often find themselves in movies. Many think that stereotypes are bad, because "limiting" the vision of things, but it is not always the case: in the movies, for example, if there are stereotypes that relate to a certain country, it may be useful to guide us. And maybe it can also be fun to find them in real life, right?

We've thought of 3 movies to watch before coming to Italy. If you look at them before your trip to Tuscany, effect - dream is guaranteed! Here they are:

1) Under the Tuscan Sun. Directed by Audrey Wells, played by Diane Lane. Based on the book by Frances Mayes, tells the story of a writer named Frances: after a separation, she decides to change her life and move to Italy. Buys a beautiful abandoned villa in Cortona, among vineyards and sunflowers, picks up her life, dreaming of building one day, a family ...

2) Eat pray love. A film starring the famous actress, Julia Roberts, based on the autobiographical book by Elizabeth Gilbert, "Eat pray love". The protagonist decides to abandon a seemingly perfect life to make a trip around the world. One of the stages of her journey in search of herself is Italy, where, between Rome and Naples, approaches to the pleasures of good food and the Italian "sweet doing nothing'', rediscovering the joy of living.

  3) La dolce Vita. The 1960 neo - realist masterpiece of the master Federico Fellini, one of the most famous films in the history of cinema. A glimpse of the climate of enthusiasm and hope that is breathed in Italy after the war, before the economic boom of the '60s. The vital impulse and desire to re-emerge in spite of the decline in poverty and positive atmosphere full of charm that give hope for the future, which becomes the symbol of Italy.
